Supporting Your Emotional Health

Behavioral and mental health benefits, support, and resources for members dealing with the stress and anxiety of COVID-19.

Telebehavioral health

If you have mental health benefits¹ through AmeriHealth New Jersey, you can talk to an in-network mental health counselor online or over the phone at no cost. This step-by-step flyer shows you how to find and connect with a telebehavioral health provider. You can also find a provider by calling the number on your ID card or logging in at amerihealthnj.com. You should check with your current provider to ask about virtual visit options.

Expanded access for behavioral health services

We’ve also expanded telebehavioral health for members with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Affected members can continue receiving Applied Behavior Analysis support while they are at home from school or community-based programming at no cost. Check with your doctor to ask about virtual visit options. Members in intensive outpatient programs or partial hospitalization programs can receive virtual support as well.
