With one of the most expansive physician networks in New Jersey, AmeriHealth New Jersey wants to make sure you have easy ways to find a participating doctor or hospital. The Provider Finder lets you search for a participating doctor by name, location, or specialty. Find out where a doctor went to medical school, his or her board certification, and languages spoken. You can even view office hours and the hospitals where a physician has admitting privileges.

How to find a provider with Local Value, Regional Preferred, AmeriHealth Advantage, or AmeriHealth Hospital Advantage

Selecting a network provider is important to avoid additional out-of-pocket expenses. Failing to do so will result in claims being processed as out-of-network. Here’s how to find a participating doctor, hospital, or other provider with Local Value, Regional Preferred, AmeriHealth Advantage, or AmeriHealth Hospital Advantage:

1. Visit the Provider Finder.
2. Select a Region and Provider Type.
3. Refine your search by entering in applicable information.
4. Select your options for Plan Preference and be sure to select the correct network plan.
