Roman named first woman to head chamber board
Voorhees, NJ - January 4, 2011 - The Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey has named Judy Roman as its new chairwoman of the board. Roman, a resident of Glen Ridge, NJ, is president and CEO of AmeriHealth New Jersey, based in Mt. Laurel and Iselin, NJ.
Roman becomes the first female chair in the chamber's 130-plus year history. Previously, she served a two-year term as the chamber's first-ever female vice chairman. Her term as chairwoman runs through 2012.
