AmeriHealth New Jersey’s Ken Kobylowski to speak at Rutgers Center for State Health Policy forum

Cranbury, NJ, October 17, 2016 — Ken Kobylowski, AmeriHealth New Jersey’s Senior Vice President of Provider Contracting and Network Operations, will speak at Rutgers Center for State Health Policy on Tuesday, October 18 for the “Tiered and Narrow Networks, the New Frontier in Health Insurance: Implications for New Jersey’s Regulatory Framework” policy forum.

Kobylowski will sit on the panel “Opportunities and Challenges of Emerging Network Structures: Payer & Provider Perspectives,” offering insight into the evolution of networks in the state. In 2013, AmeriHealth New Jersey responded to the needs of state residents and significant shifts in the market by introducing the first tiered network product in the state for consumers, designed to offer more choice, affordability, and to pave the way for new relationships with providers.

The policy forum will consider the broader context driving changes in health insurance product design and the implication of those changes for the way New Jersey oversees and regulates health insurance offerings in order to determine what public policy changes are needed.
