AmeriHealth New Jersey celebrates first annual Community Impact Day

Cranbury, NJ, June 7, 2018 — AmeriHealth New Jersey associates stepped away from the office on June 6 to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity of Burlington Country and Greater Trenton-Princeton as part of the company’s first ever Community Impact Day, a company-wide day of service.

“As we approach AmeriHealth New Jersey’s 25th anniversary next year, we continue to celebrate and keep our commitment to serving our local communities in focus,” said Mike Munoz, market president of AmeriHealth New Jersey. “Giving back is a part of our company’s roots.”

Associates helped put the final touches on townhouses that will become home for six deserving families on July 1. The day’s work involved laying sod, moving fences and installing new windows and mirrors.

Habitat for Humanity of Burlington County and Greater Trenton-Princeton is a local organization that seeks to empower families by securing homes, transforming neighborhoods, and improving the quality of life within communities.
